This strategy is using pets obtainable from the Wow Trading Card Game (TCG) or the auction house for potentially high sums of gold.
This strategy is using pets obtainable only from the WoW In-Game Shop for Battle.net Balance or real money.
You can use this strategy to carry a low level pet to give it experience.
Some instructions are more difficult to follow than others. That's exactly what you might find in this strategy!
The strategy offers a Script that can be used with the Pet Battle Script addon. You can copy the script by clicking on the button to the left of the pets.
At least one pet in the strategy cannot be obtained anymore. If you have it, congrats!

This strategy still works appropriately in the Shadowlands pre-patch as of November 3rd, 2020. I even had a hiccup where I was off on my timing of Deflection and my Anubisath got blown to smithereens but the Grumpling still won the day.

I believe the script is wrong. It swapped to my anubisath instead to my other pet.

TheGrandmaGamer wrote on 2018-04-18 05:15:11

Works great - just ALWAYS be sure to check the cooldown on his #1 ability when swapping in Anubisath Idol. Usually there is one turn left on the cooldown and you can follow the strat exactly.
But if Antaen Cannon (his #1 ability) is ready to use when your Idol comes in go immediately to Deflection or your Idol will die. This happened on the last time Idol came in for me and I immediately used Deflection then Crush - did not need Stoneskin because he had very little health left. Just remember; he goes first!
Thanks for the great strat!

Lilly wrote on 2018-05-20 20:20:45

when I used stoneskin he always got hit and one shot, I left that out of the rotation and it worked great.

PureArmour wrote on 2017-10-31 00:12:31

this worked perfect when i skipped the stone skin step ... when i tried using the stone skin i was killed.

Agreed. Using stone skin seems odd. I skipped it aswell.

Lulai wrote on 2017-11-12 03:30:56

I guess key is to count. Eight turns after the previous Antaen Cannon blast, the next blast will come. Make sure to use Deflection then, otherwise use Stoneskin.

Zmiester#1293

wrote on 2018-03-08 21:14:49

I found Stoneskin needed swapped with Deflection when you bring the Idol back in. The Antaen Cannon is off cd and he is ready to use it, so you need to deflect with the idol or be killed. Unless for some reason your rng has given you early arrival and it is not off cd, then you could use stoneskin before deflect. Look at Earseeker's spell cd to know what to use. Otherwise I used the strategy exactly as written above and it worked perfectly. With the swap of deflection BEFORE stoneskin when Idol came in after Servant died. When I did it as written, my idol was killed by the cannon. Thanks for the strategy.

Flayer Younging (1/2/1) (s/s), Kun-Li Runt (2/2/2) (p/p), Rotten Little Helper (2/2/1) (p/p). I don't know if the breeds matter as I only have one of each.

1. Deflection
2. Swap to Kun-Lai Runt
3. Frost Shock
4. Deep Freeze
5. Take down
6. Take down
7. Deep freeze
8. Deep freeze - runt dies, switch to rotten little helper
9. Ice lance - RLH dies, flayer comes in
10. Kick
11. Blitz until dead. (Kick would probably be good if it comes back up)

There is a bit of RNG; the first time I did it the RLH was actually able to get ice lance off instead of dying right away.

therabbit86ed wrote on 2017-12-13 18:56:44

Your rotation is incorrect. Deep Freeze has a 4 round cooldown. Rounds 6-7 should be Take Downs, then when the runt dies, bring in the Flayer to do Deflection again and swap immediately to RLH to do Ice Tomb and Ice Lance until it dies, then bring back the Flayer, do 1 Blitz, then Deflection to avoid the cannon 1 last time and finish off with Blitz

PureFaith#1442

wrote on 2018-02-08 22:50:18

Therabbit86ed, I followed your start with one change, I did not blitz (when I did I died) I just used deflection to avoid the cannon then blitzed till he was dead.

Romia wrote on 2018-02-16 22:24:21

Yeah I used Take Down for round 5 6 & 7, once runt died swapped to flayer for deflection then swapped in one of the winter's helper 2-1-2 used Gift then call Blizzard then ice lance til death, then did a kick which finished the fight.

Schahmaar wrote on 2017-10-13 14:47:35

You can nearly solo this with Anubisath, so you can use any humanoid you want in the other slots. Just use Deflection on the heavy hitter, 2x crush, sandstorm, Crush until heavy hitter is off cd and repeat. With really bad luck on Sandstorm you may need to use one or two of the others.

Jeack wrote on 2017-11-12 13:28:47

Yup, Anub got him within 300 hp from dead. This is the strat.

Rawan

wrote on 2017-12-15 02:09:18

Thanks so much for this! I had 2 Anubisaths and 1 P/P Flayer Youngling just in case. Didn't need the Flayer.

Za wrote on 2017-09-28 16:29:47

If you don't have those pets:
Anubisath: Deflection, Crush, Crush, Sandstorm, Crush, Crush, Deflection with one round left on confusing sting. Crush, Crush, Sandstorm, pass.
Kun Lai Runt: Frost shock, deep freeze, takedown.
Flayer Youngling: Kick, Blitz.

Rilla wrote on 2017-09-29 15:21:04

Thx! Flayer didn't even enter the fight

Abi wrote on 2017-10-31 01:53:29

This strat works beautifully and cleanly. Killed with Kun-Lai Runt, with the takedown step. Nice.

Sue wrote on 2017-09-30 18:07:42

Noticed that I had to time my deflections with Bugsy (my Idol). Turns 1, 9, 17 specifically.

LirameiRav wrote on 2017-08-31 08:53:58

Anubisath (1,2,1) Corefire Imp (1,2,2) Kun-Lai Runt (2,1,2) Pretty much just follow the above strat substituting the skills you have on these pets instead.

Vanadia wrote on 2017-09-17 09:22:31

Didn't have a Wretched Servant leveled, so I used Wyrmy Tunkins (2-1-2) instead. In Turn 3 - used Buurp! then alternated Jar of Smelly Liquid and Corrosion, and got a final Buurp! in before dying. Earseeker was down to 472 before swapping back to Idol for Deflection.

When you bring your Idol back in, Turn 1 and 2 might need to be swapped. Use Stoneskin if Anteen Cannon is on CD, if not, use Deflection. Otherwise, works fine.

Worked for the 3rd try. Could have done it earlier, but the turns don't always line up like this, there is some RNG in the damage of the abilities and the Wretched Servant can last 1 more turn.

But Earseeker always uses the Cannon attack in turns 9 and 17 so make sure to use Delfection in those turns and you should be fine.

Two anubisath idols, Deflection, and just Crush, first will eventually die, bring in second, deflection again, and will have enough health to take it out with just Crush
