This strategy is using pets obtainable from the Wow Trading Card Game (TCG) or the auction house for potentially high sums of gold.
This strategy is using pets obtainable only from the WoW In-Game Shop for Battle.net Balance or real money.
You can use this strategy to carry a low level pet to give it experience.
Some instructions are more difficult to follow than others. That's exactly what you might find in this strategy!
Script
The strategy offers a Script that can be used with the Pet Battle Script addon. You can copy the script by clicking on the button to the left of the pets.
At least one pet in the strategy cannot be obtained anymore. If you have it, congrats!

Thank you!!! Amazing strategy! I was using a frog and snails for backline which was reliable. However, this method is more efficient on time. Tidal Wave eliminates the backlines and I was surprised to see how resilient Syd is. Cheers Syd!!!!!

Had ridiculous lag when doing this, so I was happy this strat is so straight forward. I put H/H shore crab and an elekk plushie as the backline and they could have probably gone a second time lol

I just soloed this with Syd. But my Pandaren Water Spirit, just over 1500 didn't make it. Luckily I put in a H/H Brightscale Hatchling (over 1900 health) and it had no problem withstanding the assault. And I was nervous because Syd got down to 29HP before I took out the guy! I'd almost think I could use a Plushie as my 3rd Pet, just need it to survive. (edited)

Syd Vycious FTW! Wave goodbye to the other team!

The TD scripted was a fail, for unborn Val as it used Unholy with first turn, so I lost my unborn val and it was downhill from there. I'm assuming the strat is sound but the TD Script needs to be reworked, lost the match.

I believe you're commenting on the wrong strategy. There's no Unborn Val'kyr here.

strat now working

Anon wrote on 2020-10-31 21:46:32

When you said "all aquatic at the back", I guess you mean magic. Though it may still solo it anyway.

Nick30 wrote on 2021-01-19 00:28:09

Aquatic in the back so Syd's Healing stream heals. It only heals aquatics.

Elfizm wrote on 2020-12-23 05:44:47

The strat works fine, but I'm very curious why you opt for Syd (magic) as first option rather than a jelly (aquatic).

It works but it's so slow. Is there anything quicker?

I had Bubble up instead of Heal by accident. Still worked... albeit with 38 HP left!

Umbos wrote on 2020-07-08 20:11:36

It works but it's pretty slow, takes about 19 rounds. I think the ikky strat is much faster.

Misis wrote on 2019-10-05 22:45:28

Doesn't work at all. Neither Plump Jelly or Syd the Squid.

31 Wins 1 Loss so far. I have no idea how you can fail this.

Chinane

wrote on 2019-11-30 20:19:52

Might be the 'any aquatic' part. Dreadful breath starts to hurt when the backline pets are dead, which can happen if you use pets with weak HP stats and the spore gets a few lucky shots.

So ideally you want to use high HP aquatic pets there.

Toenail

wrote on 2019-12-09 15:11:46

i use 2 H/H crabs >1800 HP that never have died or been needed. Tidal Wave counters most of the boss damage (mushrooms)

Lanaera

wrote on 2020-01-22 22:04:12

I use a pair of Elekk Plushies. Over 2500 HP each.

Torbash

wrote on 2020-03-09 02:36:41

Works fine with B/B Softshell Snapling and and H/H Fen Crab. Sid solos whole fight.

Toenail

wrote on 2019-06-29 14:27:41

17 rounds (total) when the boss is dead, one of the back line pets comes in with 23 HP and the other comes in with 91 HP isn't really taking that long.
