Here's an alternative strategy for those that don't have Sister or KunLai.
I used Anubisath Idol with Deflection and Demolish (more RNG, i know), Squirky with Fish Slap, Stampede and Bubble, and Curious Wolvar Pup with Bite, Snap Trap and Maul. Like every fight on Argus, there's RNG involved, but after testing this strat 10 times and failing only twice, this is the best I've seen.
Start with Squirky. He gets swapped into Anubisath. Use Demolish, then deflect his big Pounce hit, then Demolish again (one Demolish needs to hit here or start over). Anubisath gets swapped into Wolvar Pup. Use Snap Trap and then Maul, he gets swapped into Squirky. Use Bubble then Stampede. Snap Trap should go off sometime during Squirky being out, and that's all we need. When Stampede is over, hit him with Fish Slap, and another Fish Slap if needed.

This is working perfectly !!

Hikaru wrote on 2017-09-08 10:53:12

1 out of 5 succes for me, because of snap trap hitting too early and/or demolish missing too often. But hey, it worked! (only thing on this page so far that did without the right breed of KLR) :) Suggestion: do maul first, before snap trap. Reduces the chance of it hitting early.

Shaelai wrote on 2017-09-09 00:06:40

That final fish slap was very satisfying.

(Your strat in readable form)

Squirky 2/2/2
Anubisath Idol 2/1/1
Curious Wolvar Pup 2/1/2

Pass

Demolish
Deflection
Demolish

Snap Trap
Maul
Bite until you're swapped

OMG after failing 20-25 with all the other strats I've found. This worked! And my Squirky wasn't even level 25. THANK YOU!

Tranmere Fan wrote on 2017-10-04 21:38:09

Wow worked like a charm, did not get the bite of on the pup, but wow, this is great

Chamunda wrote on 2017-10-07 22:05:20

Beautiful! Worked 2nd attempt after your recommended restart when Demolish didn't hit. Thank you!!!

worked on 2nd attempt first demolish missed, but when swapped idol didnt die so I was able after squirky died to deflect and do 2 more demolish because the first missed again

Tatahe wrote on 2017-09-05 16:32:03

I did this work with a P/P Kun-Lai Runt. Just changed the turn 4 for a Thrash, the turn 9 for a Shadow Shock and the Turn 12 for a Deep Freeze. Maybe not consistent if your Shadow Shocks roll low but worked for me first try.

Anubisath Idol x3 (2.2.1)
Deflection and demolish all the way

Had 2 leveled and used Crusher in third slot. Did not even get to Crusher thx to RNJebus. Great Strat!

Anonymous wrote on 2017-09-05 22:41:43

With H/B Sister and P/B Runt, this strat (and Tatahe's variation) fails each time (7+ attempts). Runt dies Turn 13 before getting off an attack every time.

Anonymous wrote on 2017-09-09 18:18:37

This is exactly what I'm seeing. Strat has no chance to work without a P/B or maybe B/B Sister

Tsoonami wrote on 2017-09-06 02:56:18

I didn't have the Rotten Little Helper or the correct breed of Kun-Lai Runt so I tried an alternative strategy with my favorite little murloc pairing Terky and Squirky. Fight went like this:

Terky starts. Pass.
Squirky forced in.
Bubble.
Stampede.
Fish Slap.
Kunlai Runt comes in.
Frost Shock.
Deep Freeze.
Thrash. Terky forced in.
Acid Touch. Terky dies.
Kun Lai Runt comes in.
Frost Shock.
Deep Freeze.
Thrash.

Worked 3/4 times in testing.

Emerson wrote on 2017-09-06 07:46:01

Fysm wrote on 2017-09-06 19:22:00

Mar'cuus always crits like a motherfucker... besides that, works fine. Sadly most of the comments on the Argus section are 100% better than any strategy above.

wrote on 2017-09-09 09:33:09

It worked perfect the first try though I altered it to use Deep Freeze before Frost in the end due to Kun-Lai's health. Decided to then try again and not swap those two around. Either way worked great, so I've added your strategy to the list of alternatives.
Thank you.

Tora wrote on 2017-09-08 22:05:02

I guess my Kun-Lai wasn't the right breed for the above strat, tried several times with no success. I switched in Squirky (2,,2,2) in the place of sister. When he got forced in, used bubble and fish slap to finish him off. When Kun-Lai goes in the second time, frost shock and trample

Duchess wrote on 2017-09-06 18:54:48

I used Baby Winston (1,1,1) in place of Sister. Everything is the same with turn 4 being a Thrash, when Winston is swapped in Primal Rage, Tesla Cannon, Barrior Projector. I did this a few times and had some bad rng but it worked most of them. Good luck

Nelaphim wrote on 2017-09-07 06:00:57

Barlenor wrote on 2017-09-07 07:50:50
