I apply Shattered Defenses (damage taken increased by 100%) with Flock and then force the Tinytron swap by using a pet with higher health in slot#3. You can replace Ikky with any other pet that can apply Shattered Defenses for 2 rounds (Stampede, Swarm, Inflation etc. but not Hunting Party!) with speed 295+ This team & strat is part of my Emperor Crab & Soul of the Forge challenge run. Just a simple confirmation that pretty much any fire shield or lightning shield pet works, I think fire is better as it lasts 3 rounds, and in my case I used giggling flame, magma rageling like here, note the rageling has 357 power, one of the most powerful pets with these moves, and also used the amalgalm of destruction, all 3 had fire shield and powerful abilities like magma jet whenever the enemy pet wasn't killing himself, worked really well.

Ops, meant flame jet ofc, instant 750 damage, reduced ofc by the boss' 50% less damage aura and with high chance to ignite is very strong coupled with fire shield and the enemy jackhammer ability.

As with all reflection-based strategies, there is a bit of RNG related to how many times you're struck with Jackhammer.
Sadly I was able to test it only once, but the Rageling died a bit earlier (two fillers instead of three) than described, you would use that Pen or third pet too. Luckily to me, the volcano landed a stun, if not, I suspect it would take more than one hit to finish it.
