This comp doesn't work for me, I used missile instead of flyby on zep and I swapped Rabid with Mechanical Pandaren Dragonling 2-2-1.
I used Thunderbolt, Flyby, standby, Flyby and Explode after death. Tonk can finish the fight easily after that ;)

Your version works quite well. I modified it slightly to the following, and didn't even need Ion Cannon, although it's definitely good to have as backup if RNG screws up Missile hits.

The tonk dosent work since its slower then Master and gets hit by Liqid Jar . I changed him with Custodian and also as Rabid i used Rabid strike before extra plating worked on first try

I also was having trouble using the Tonk. I switched it up like you suggested and used Rabid Strike first, then Extra Plating on the Rabin Nut Varmint. When I brought the Custodian in, I used Shock and Awe, then Overtune, then Ion Cannon and that got Flummox down.

As Custodian i needed only Shock and Awe and then Ion Cannon but got a crit with explode on zep

Argh on that fight. This worked finally. Used missile instead of flyby, and rabid>extra plating. Menagerie Custodian had little left to kill thanks to this strat!

I initially tried this comp with Lil' Bling instead Rabid because i don't have Rabid, and i couldnt get the boss low enough to finish him with ion cannon, after changing the skill to Missile on Zeppelin, i managed to get the boss down. the 200-300 Damage bonus from Missile is very important.
so my comp was: Zep, Lil, Tonk
